 Welcome to my website! I hope it is helpful and would
welcome any suggestions. Now, a little bit about me. I was born and raised in western
Washington. I attended Warner
Pacific College in Portland, Oregon and received my Bachelor of Science. I majored in General Science and
minored in Education. After
graduating, I wanted to do something ÒwildÓ before settling down. I decided to go to Honduras, Central
America, and teach in a small missionary kid school there. I thoroughly
enjoyed myself and continue telling stories of my two years of
experiences. After returning to
the States, I was offered a job here at Olympia High School and have felt
privileged to be able to work in such a great school! I finished my Masters
of Education through Washington State University with an emphasis on teaching
English as a second language. I
have also worked through the Special Education classes at the Evergreen State
College and was privileged to do some research on imaging rat lungs with one
of their faculty. I enjoy setting up and lighting professional firework
displays, camping, hiking this great northwest, riding my bike, traveling in
Latin America, studying Spanish, and SCUBA diving our cold waters. I am looking
forward to this, my tenth, year here at Oly!
